Elder Jordi Kloosterboer: Week 94: Deep Fried Oreos, Yummy!

Hello everyone! It was a great week! We taught Evie and it turns out she is also interested in Family History. We were going to help her with it this week, but something came up. She also gave us a little present! That was nice! We are meeting with her this Thursday to help her with Family History at the library.

Oh, Elder Schramm is going to Jamaica tomorrow morning so we are going to sleep in the elders' apartment up in Geneva (near St Charles) tonight. I am going to be training a new missionary, so I will find out his name tomorrow.

We went on exchanges again where we both went up to Galesburg. I went with Elder Lewis and Elder Schramm went with Elder Sabin.

After we got back to our area, Elder Schramm got electrocuted by a car battery. He was unscrewing one of the screws and I saw the arc of electricity! Luckily it didn't have too much juice... haha. So he is fine. The reason he was touching it was because a member's friend needed help with starting up her car. It turned out he just had to clean up the corrosion and make the connection connect better. So it works now.

We finally got to teach the Lanhams somewhat! It was interesting because they know about personality types. I am an INTP (introversion, intuition, thinking, perceiving). So that was fun talking to them.

We also had Hog Days. So they had a parade and a carnival. We got some pork chops in buns. It was yummy! We also got some deep fried Oreos which were actually really good!
