|On exchanges and at the baptism for Kelsey|

It was a great week this week!
We started off by going to the new missionary training meeting. So that was 2 hours there and 2 hours back haha. It was great, though! We learned some things.
Gary and Clarence are progressing very well! We taught them the 10 commandments and Word of Wisdom this week and they are so accepting of it! Gary is going to try really hard to keep it! They are so great! Haha, we are also teaching Sean and Heidi. They are solid! They want to learn if this is true so much! We taught them the Restoration this week and are going to teach them the Plan of Salvation next Sunday.
The more and more I teach the gospel, the more I know it truly blesses families and individuals. It's so true!
We woke up a less active/recent convert family for church an hour before it started this week and they came! Aaliyah brought her boyfriend, too! So, that was cool!
We went on exchanges this week with the District Leader, Elder Lewis, and his companion, Elder Sabin. I went with Elder Sabin for the first part of the day. We saw two guys working on a truck and started talking to them. I started talking about the importance of Jesus Christ going to John the Baptist because he had that authority to baptize and one of the guys was interested. Elder Sabin, who came in with Elder Schramm, invited him to be baptized with the same authority that Christ was baptized with and he started asking when he could get baptized! They had a lesson on Saturday, but I haven't asked how it went yet.
The last part of the day I went with Elder Lewis. The next day we helped prepare the baptism for Kelsey. It was good!
Also, this is something I found out about this week -
Based on scriptural and historical sources it is most probable that these are some of the important events of Christ's life:
Jesus was born on Thursday, April 6, 1 B.C. and died on Friday, April 1, 33 A.D. at around 3 p.m. and was resurrected on Sunday, April 3, 33 A.D. before sunrise. This is in our current Gregorian calendar in Jerusalem time. He lived 12,048 days (5 days less than 33 years in our Gregorian calendar) based on a 365-day Nephite year.
I also have a cool picture which shows how the Passover typified Christ's Last few days.
Also, here is a quote in Jesus the Christ that I copied a few months ago:
"There are sects named from the circumstances of their origin--as the Church of England; others after their famous founders or promoters--as Lutheran, Calvinist, Wesleyan; some are known by peculiarities of doctrine or plan of administration--as Methodist, Presbyterian, Baptist, Congregationalist; but down to the third decade of the nineteenth century there was no church on earth affirming name or title as the Church of Jesus Christ. The only organization called a church existing at that time and venturing to assert claim to authority by succession was the Catholic church, which for centuries had been apostate and wholly bereft of divine authority or recognition. If the “mother church” be without a valid priesthood, and devoid of spiritual power, how can her offspring derive from her the right to officiate in the things of God? Who would dare to affirm that man can originate a priesthood which God is bound to honor and acknowledge? Granted that men may and do create among themselves societies, associations, sects, and even “churches” if they choose so to designate their organizations; granted that they may prescribe rules, formulate laws, and devise plans of operation, discipline, and government, and that all such laws, rules, and schemes of administration are binding upon those who assume membership--granted all these rights and powers--whence can such human institutions derive the authority of the Holy Priesthood, without which there can be no Church of Christ?
I know that this is the church of Christ. It was set up by him and restored by him. It is the only church that has his authority to do any ordinances to help us with our purpose here on earth. I know this through the Holy Ghost and I know that if you don't know, you can know too!
What a privilege to have the Church of Christ set up again and have the opportunity to be members of HIS church!
If you haven't had the opportunity to listen to this message of great news, you need to do so before your time is up on the earth. In the name of Jesus Christ, I write this testimony, amen.
