Week 45: Lived in America for 7 Years

We gave some bread to some refugees from a food pantry - it was approved

Monday, September 26, 2016

It was a shorter week since my last email because of the Temple. Pretty good week, though! We had our Book of Mormon class on Tuesday night and it went good!

The Mongers, the Nepali family, are doing well. Kriss came to church again. He went to the Sunday School class for his age and there were like 6 girls and one other boy. Haha. He had a fun time, though. He loved church again!

It is General Conference next week and Stake Conference the next week.

We had some fun service on Saturday. We went to a wild park and walked through the tall wild grass and harvested and sowed seed. It was super fun.

Sunday was super cool, too. We saw this guy named Tevin just before we got a ride to church and he came over to us and he was interested, so we got his information while the members were in the car. But, the fun thing was, we saw him two other times. One time when going home from church and we waved to him in the distance and the other time we were like, "Tevin?" Because it was super dark and he walked passed us. Haha, so that was fun!

Anyway, it is going to be an exciting week this week! :)

So many miracles! I know that this is God's work and that it is super important and awesome! I love The Son and Heavenly Father. Isn't it interesting they chose titles that are super common? I know that we have the fullness of the gospel on the earth today that we need in order to be exalted. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week 44: I'm a Tetris Master!

At the Chicago Temple

Tuesday, September 20, 2016

It was an excellent week. We went to Primary on Sunday and sung lots of songs! Our investigator, Kriss, came to church! The others were too shy lol! Kriss loved church, too, especially the singing!

We had a few dinners this week where we went with the other elders in the ward. That was fun! We have been paying a lot of attention to the Ward Mission Plan as that is what is inspired for the people of the ward to do. I invite you members to look at your own ward's and to see how you can help with it.

We helped Andrea, a former investigator, move all her heavy stuff in her moving truck. It was fun doing Tetris. :) she is going back to Georgia!

This week will be a great one as well. I'm super excited for it as we have many cool people to teach. We were going to teach Marie and Mark last week, but things came up.

It was a great day at the Chicago temple today! It is super small haha!

Anyway, not much time today again. I will email next Monday again.

I know that the Atonement of Jesus is real and can help today. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring true happiness right now and after. I know that through knowing and living the gospel, we can have a real hope and comfort of what is to come. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week 43: Miracles Everywhere Part 2

We went to a Hindu temple today! Super Cool! We went inside too!
Lol, so Elder Eddenfield had something in his eyes

Monday, September 12, 2016

I'm going to the Chicago Temple next week! I also went to a Hindu Temple today! It is awesome! So pretty!
It was an awesome week this week! We had miracles happen again. We had a fast go on about hastening the work of salvation and it is definitely working! We found a guy who knew all about Mormons and we talked about the Book of Mormon and temples and left him the part in the Book of Mormon where the resurrected Jesus Christ comes to the Americas. I love the Book of Mormon. I know that it is the word of God and is true! I've been doing a 21 day testimony challenge and it is still increasing my testimony of the Book of Mormon.
The challenge for gaining a stronger testimony of the BoM from our Mission President - I challenge you all to do it as well!
It is so very interesting hearing other beliefs.

It is very nice to have a living prophet today to guide us and to interpret the scriptures correctly as he is authorized by Jesus Christ himself to do so. I don't have to be lost in darkness concerning my own salvation and living with God in the "3rd heaven" (2 Corinthians 12:2).

I don't have much time to write much more, but enjoy the pictures and I will write next Tuesday.
