Well this was a short week! Anyway, one responsibility of a district leader is to interview people who want to get baptized who are ready/should-be-ready, so the district leader (my companion) did that on Tuesday night at 8:45 in Morton. So, it is 30 minutes away from our apartment and we stayed the night there, with the Zone Leaders. The next night, the zone leaders came and slept over at our apartment because we had exchanges, and then the next night, we finished too late and they decided to stay the night again. Haha. So we basically had a 3 night slumber party.
We had our last District Meeting of the 7 week transfer because this week we have a mission tour, so no District meeting this Wednesday. Elder Martino of the Seventy is coming.
As you can see, we took some pictures. :)
We taught a lesser active person on Thursday at night, and after nightly planning, we got a call from an unknown number. The lesser active person had told a friend about us and how we love to do service.
The next day we helped her friend move for 4.5 hours. It was fun! We unloaded, loaded and unloaded. She was moving from one side of town to the other. One of her friends also came to help out later and now we are going to teach them after she has settled.
Yeah, we did a lot of service last week. It was great!
Dino came to Stake Conference on Sunday and he met the Temple President, the Mission President (President Griffin), and Elder Packer of the 70! We sat right at the front and he loved it. He loved the music, too. It was powerful!
Anyway, I know that the Book of Mormon is a true account of the Ancient inhabitants of America and that prophets wrote it. It helps me get closer to Jesus Christ and I know it will help you get closer to Christ much more than any other book available. I invite you all to read it, especially if you never have. I know it will help you in your life no matter what you are going through, if you apply what it says in your life. I can promise that it won't be a waste of time if you take the time to ponder the message and do as it says. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
P.S. Transfer calls is this Saturday. I will find out then if I will be transferred or not.
|Lol, they didn't translate this in the LDS Music app|
